The topography was the basis of the concept, as the plot is located in the Buda mountains, so the rear part is quite sloping. We thought about a two-story family house placed parallel to the street to create the intimacy of the inner courtyard. Then, by rotating the upper level around the stairwell core, we created a connection between the upper level and the garden and at the same time created a covered, open space on the ground floor. The part of the building that juts out towards the street resulting from the rotation moves the mass of the building even better and also functions as a canopy for the main entrance.

On the ground floor, we arrive at the atrium staircase, which serves as the axis of the rotation. To the right of this is the closed garage with two parking spaces, the mechanical room and the laundry room. The kitchen, dining room and living room were located in the other half of the building, which were opened into one large space. This wing has a connection to the garden terrace on the entire front surface, which we provided with full-height sliding doors.
On the first floor, on the stairs, we arrive at the pleasant second living room, which is connected to the roof terrace. The bedrooms and their bathrooms are connected to the corridor. At the end of the corridor, we placed the master bedroom, which has a private bathroom and wardrobe space, as well as a connection to the garden.
